SDL Forms NDT Data Management Division

SDL has formed a new division to pursue commercialization of technology developed for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. The focus of the division is the development of technologies to improve the management of inspection data.

Modern inspection techniques generate ever-increasing amounts of digital data. After the inspection this data may pile up with no apparent benefits. However in most cases this data contains valuable information, but it is either too time consuming or costly to retrieve. There's an interesting story this data could tell - if only there was an efficient tool to unlock it.
